Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh shrimp recommended
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 unit lemon, juiced and zested Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • optional Red pepper flakes For added spice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse your shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it’s bubbly.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.
  5. Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and add lemon zest. Stir to combine.
  6. Remove from heat and fold in the fresh parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on low heat.
