- Rinse your shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it’s bubbly.
- Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.
- Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and add lemon zest. Stir to combine.
- Remove from heat and fold in the fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on low heat.
