Preparation
- Season your chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
- Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Gradually add grated Asiago cheese, stirring until it melts into the sauce.
- Add spinach to the sauce, stirring until wilted.
- Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet and let them soak in the sauce for 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of cream or milk to restore creaminess.
