Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 12 oz Rotini Pasta Use as per package instructions
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Halal
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Plus more for serving
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Fresh Parsley For garnish (optional)

Method

Cooking the Pasta
  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rotini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Beef
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it’s browned and fully cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Use a spatula to break it up into small pieces while it cooks.
  2. Once the beef is cooked, add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Creating the Sauce
  1. Pour in the heavy cream, then stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked rotini to the skillet with the sauce, tossing everything together until the pasta is well coated.
Serving
  1. Divide the pasta among plates and top with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using lean ground turkey or chicken. Timing is crucial for draining the pasta to avoid mushiness. Keep heat moderate while making the sauce to prevent separation.
