Preparation
- Start by rinsing the broccoli florets under cool water and chop them into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, raisins, shredded cheese, and sunflower seeds. Toss them gently to combine.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sugar, and apple cider vinegar until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and gently fold everything together until coated.
- Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste and mix again.
- Cover the salad and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
