Ingredients

For the filling
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Feel free to substitute with your favorite berries.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the rolls
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)
  • Sprinkles (optional) For topping.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, or spray it lightly with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until it’s smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the mixed berries.
  3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it on a clean surface.
Assembly
  1. Scoop about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the wider end of each crescent triangle. Roll the dough over the filling, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point. Pinch the edges to seal the filling inside.
  2. Place the prepared rolls on the baking sheet and brush the tops with the egg wash.
Baking
  1. Bake your rolls in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown and puffy.
  2. Once baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Add toppings like sprinkles or additional powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze for about a month. Reheat in a toaster oven or regular oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
