Banana Smoothie Recipe

A quick and delicious banana smoothie made with fresh bananas, yogurt, and milk. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or a post-workout boost!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy, like almond, oat, or soy milk
  • ½ cup plain or vanilla yogurt or non-dairy yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional, for extra sweetness
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional, for added flavor
  • ½ cup ice optional, for a colder, thicker smoothie

  • Knife and cutting board

  • Glass or smoothie cup

Method
 

  1. Prepare the banana:
  2. Peel the banana and cut it into chunks for easier blending.
  3. Blend the smoothie:
  4. Add the banana, milk, yogurt, honey (if using), and vanilla extract into the blender. If you like a thicker texture, add ice cubes.
  5. Blend until smooth:
  6. Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk to reach your preferred consistency.
  7. Serve:
  8. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
