Step 1: Prepare the Filling
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
Add the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the sausage. Stir until well combined and creamy. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Step 2: Assemble the Crescents
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up towards the pointed end. Tuck in the sides slightly to keep the filling from spilling out.
(Optional) Whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash. Brush the tops of the crescents for a golden, shiny finish.
Step 3: Bake
Arrange the crescents on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
Step 4: Serve
Let the crescents cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley for an extra touch of flavor. Enjoy warm!
