Equipment

  • Baking dish or sheet pan
  • Aluminum foil or parchment paper
  • Small bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Basting brush (optional)

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets 6 ounces each, skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill or fresh dill for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish or sheet pan with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Prepare the Marinade:
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Season the Salmon:
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking dish. Brush the marinade generously over the fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Bake the Salmon:
  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Serve:
  • Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with fresh dill and lemon wedges. Serve hot with your favorite sides like roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
