Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash the pears thoroughly, slice them in half, and remove the core and seeds.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well blended and creamy.
- Generously spoon the cream cheese mixture into the hollowed-out center of each pear half.
- Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the cream cheese filling, pressing them slightly into the mixture.
Baking
- Arrange the stuffed pears in a baking dish and place them in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Once baked, allow them to cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with honey if desired.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freeze unbaked pears for later use; thaw before baking. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
