Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the peaches in half and remove the pits. You can leave the skin on for added texture or peel them if you prefer.
- Place the peach halves cut side up in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon until thoroughly combined.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of the brown sugar mixture over each peach half.
- Cut the butter into small pieces and place one piece on top of each peach half.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and caramelized.
- Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an added creaminess.
Notes
Keep an eye on the peaches as they bake; adjust baking time as necessary. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days, or wrap and freeze for up to 3 months.
