Equipment

  • Baking dish
  • Mixing bowl
  • Small bowl

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs or panko for extra crunch
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with non-stick spray or a small amount of butter.
  • Prepare the coating mixture:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Coat the chicken:
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Dip each piece into the melted butter, ensuring it is fully coated, then press into the breadcrumb mixture, covering both sides evenly.
  • Arrange in the baking dish:
  • Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, leaving space between each piece for even cooking.
  • Bake the chicken:
  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
  • Garnish and serve:
  • Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve hot.
