Method
 

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  3. Prepare the Chicken:
  4. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps the seasonings stick and prevents steaming in the oven.
  5. Season the Chicken:
  6. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Brush or rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  8. Bake the Chicken:
  9. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, ensuring they are not touching for even cooking.
  10. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when measured with a meat thermometer.
  11. Rest the Chicken:
  12. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. This helps the juices redistribute, keeping the chicken moist and flavorful.
