Aunt Kathy's Oven Burgers – Savory and Juicy, Made Easy!

Enjoy a family-favorite burger made easy with Aunt Kathy's Oven Burgers! These juicy, flavorful patties are seasoned to perfection and baked in the oven for a hassle-free, delicious meal.

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper or aluminum foil
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Meat thermometer (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef preferably 80% lean
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce tomato, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until just combined.
  • Form the mixture into four equally sized patties.
  • Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium-well burgers.
  • While the burgers are baking, toast the buns in the oven during the last few minutes to give them a warm, crispy texture.
  • Once the burgers are fully cooked, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a toasted bun and topping with your favorite ingredients, such as cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, or condiments.
