Ingredients
  

For the meatballs
  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 2 pieces Green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce, low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 pieces Egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • to taste Sesame seeds, to garnish
For the glaze
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, chopped green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, cornstarch, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Form the Meatballs: Scoop a small amount of the mixture and roll it into a ball, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
Cooking
  1. Bake: Place the meatballs onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  2. Prepare the Glaze: While the meatballs are baking, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil in a small saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens.
  3. Glaze the Meatballs: Drizzle the meatballs with the prepared glaze or toss gently until well coated.
  4. Garnish: Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze with parchment paper between layers.
