  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each) Opt for fresh salmon for the best flavor and texture.
  • 1/4 cup pure honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or coconut aminos for a gluten-free option)
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger (optional for an extra kick) Add for additional flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag, and pour the marinade over the top. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Cooking
  1. Remove the salmon from the marinade, shaking off any excess liquid. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
  1. Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and drizzle with remaining marinade if desired. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds, then serve with rice or your favorite veggies.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes or in the microwave.
