Method
Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated. If you’re adding vegetables, fold them in gently.
- Form the seasoned ground beef into small bite-sized balls or patties, depending on how you’d like to use them.
Cooking
- Place the beef balls or patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer (make sure they aren’t overcrowded). Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) for safety. If they need a bit more time, add a few extra minutes as necessary.
Serving
- Remove from the air fryer and enjoy as desired—whether in tacos, bowls, or on nachos!
Notes
Choose an 80/20 meat blend for the best flavor and juiciness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, microwave or re-air fry until warmed through.
