Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Biscuit cutter or small round cutter
  • Mixing bowls
  • Pastry brush

Ingredients

  • 1 can 16 oz refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon optional
  • For the Glaze Optional:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 –3 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Prepare the Biscuit Dough:
  • Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Use a small round cutter to cut out the center of each biscuit to create donut shapes. Save the centers to make donut holes!
  • Preheat the Air Fryer:
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Air Fry the Donuts:
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Place the donuts and donut holes in a single layer, leaving space between them for even cooking.
  • Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 5–6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  • Coat the Donuts:
  • While the donuts are still warm, brush them with melted butter. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, then coat the donuts in the mixture.
  • Make the Glaze (Optional):
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and let it set for a few minutes.
  • Serve:
  • Serve the donuts warm and enjoy their light, fluffy goodness!
