Preparation
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Scoop the donut batter into a piping bag and pipe circles into the air fryer basket, leaving space between each one.
Cooking
- Air fry the donuts for 5-6 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Let the donuts cool for a few minutes before tossing them in powdered sugar or glaze.
Notes
Donuts can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or frozen for up to a month. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
