Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix thoroughly but be careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make a slight depression in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overcrowd. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- If you want cheesy burgers, add slices of cheese during the last 2 minutes of cooking and close the air fryer to melt the cheese.
Assembly
- Once cooked, let the patties rest for a couple of minutes. Toast your burger buns in the air fryer for about 2 minutes, then assemble your burgers with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Use quality meat for the best flavor. Don't overmix the ground beef to avoid tough patties. Customize with herbs or spices for a unique flavor.
