This easy air fryer broccoli recipe yields perfectly crispy, tender florets in minutes. A healthy, quick side dish with minimal prep and clean-up!

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Tongs or spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Prepare the Broccoli
  • Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets, discarding the tough stems. If you prefer smaller pieces, you can slice the florets into halves or quarters.
  • Season the Broccoli
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Make sure each floret is evenly coated with the seasoning.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Air Fry the Broccoli
  • Arrange the seasoned broccoli in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook in batches.
  • Cook the Broccoli
  • Air fry the broccoli at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The broccoli should be crispy around the edges and tender in the center.
  • Optional: Add Parmesan
  • If you like, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the broccoli in the last 1-2 minutes of cooking to melt and add extra flavor.
