Strawberry lemonade is a classic drink that blends the sweetness of ripe strawberries with the tang of fresh lemons. Whether you’re hosting a summer gathering or simply want a refreshing beverage, this easy recipe will become your go-to for a burst of fruity flavor.

      Equipment:

      • Blender or food processor
      • Fine mesh strainer
      • Large pitcher
      • Measuring cups
      • Citrus juicer
      • Spoon for stirring

      Ingredients:

      • 1 pound (16 oz) fresh strawberries, hulled
      • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6–8 lemons)
      • ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
      • 4 cups cold water, divided
      • Ice cubes (optional)
      • Fresh strawberry slices and lemon wedges for garnish

      Instructions:

      1. Prepare the Strawberry Purée:
        • In a blender, combine the strawberries and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
        • Strain the purée through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds, if desired.
      2. Juice the Lemons:
        • Use a citrus juicer to extract 1 cup of fresh lemon juice from the lemons.
      3. Mix the Lemonade Base:
        • In a large pitcher, combine the strained strawberry purée, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
      4. Add Water:
        • Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir well. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water, if necessary.
      5. Serve:
        • Fill glasses with ice cubes (optional) and pour in the strawberry lemonade.
        • Garnish with fresh strawberry slices and lemon wedges for a festive touch.

      Tips:

      • For a sparkling version, replace 1–2 cups of water with club soda or sparkling water.
      • Freeze leftover strawberry purée in ice cube trays to add a fruity twist to other drinks.
      • If you prefer a less sweet drink, reduce the sugar to ½ cup or use a natural sweetener like honey or agave syrup.

This homemade strawberry lemonade is a delightful balance of sweet and tart, perfect for quenching your thirst on warm days. Customize it to your taste and enjoy this refreshing beverage any time of year!
