      Equipment:

      • Slow cooker (3-4 quarts)
      • Large mixing bowl
      • Spoon for stirring
      • Measuring cups and spoons

      Ingredients:

      • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (about 2 chicken breasts)
      • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
      • ½ cup ranch dressing
      • ½ cup buffalo sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
      • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
      • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
      • 1 tablespoon butter
      • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
      • Salt and pepper to taste

      Instructions:

      1. Prepare the Chicken:
If you haven’t already, cook the chicken by either boiling, baking, or using a rotisserie chicken. Shred the chicken with two forks and set it aside.
      2. Combine the Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, butter, and half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Mix everything until smooth and well-combined.
      3. Transfer to Slow Cooker:
Pour the mixture into the slow cooker and spread it out evenly.
      4. Cook:
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 2–3 hours, or until the dip is hot and the cheese is fully melted. Stir once or twice during the cooking process to ensure everything blends together.
      5. Add Cheese:
Once the dip is heated through, sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top. Cover again and cook for an additional 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
      6. Serve:
Stir the dip to combine the melted cheese and serve warm with chips, crackers, or cut veggies for dipping.

      Tips:

      • For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the dip.
      • You can make this dip ahead of time by preparing it the day before and storing it in the refrigerator. Simply reheat it in the slow cooker on low when you’re ready to serve.
      • For a creamier dip, consider adding an additional ½ cup of cream cheese or sour cream.
      • If you prefer a spicier dip, increase the amount of buffalo sauce to taste.
