Peach dump cake is a delightful, no-fuss dessert that’s perfect for busy days or when you need a quick, crowd-pleasing treat. Made by “dumping” the ingredients into a baking dish, this cake requires minimal preparation but delivers maximum flavor. With juicy peaches, a buttery cake mix topping, and a touch of cinnamon, it’s an easy dessert that’s always a hit. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a comforting finish!

      Equipment:

      • 9×13-inch baking dish
      • Mixing bowl
      • Spoon or spatula

      Ingredients:

      • 2 cans (15 ounces each) of sliced peaches in syrup, drained
      • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 ounces)
      • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
      • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for extra flavor)
      • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving (optional)

      Instructions:

      1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
      2. Layer the Peaches
Spread the drained peaches evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle cinnamon over the peaches if desired for added warmth and flavor.
      3. Add the Cake Mix
Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the peaches, spreading it to cover the fruit completely.
      4. Drizzle with Butter
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. Be sure to cover as much of the mix as possible to achieve a golden, crispy crust when baked.
      5. Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

      Presentation Ideas:

      • Serve warm in bowls with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
      • Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon or nutmeg over the top for added aroma and appeal.
      • Garnish with a few fresh peach slices or a sprig of mint for color.

      Tips:

      • For added flavor, you can use fresh peaches if they’re in season—about 4-5 medium peaches, peeled and sliced.
      • A sprinkle of chopped pecans or almonds on top before baking adds a nice crunch.
      • Substitute white cake mix or spice cake mix for a unique twist on the flavor.
