      Cheesy Chicken Fritters are a delicious, cheesy twist on traditional chicken nuggets. These golden, crispy bites are packed with savory chicken, melted cheese, and a perfect blend of seasonings, making them an ideal appetizer, snack, or even a main course.       Ingredients

      • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
      • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
      • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
      • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
      • 1 large egg
      • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
      • 1 teaspoon onion powder
      • Salt and pepper, to taste
      • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
      • 1 tablespoon olive oil, for frying

      Equipment

      • Large mixing bowl
      • Fork or spoon for mixing
      • Non-stick skillet or frying pan
      • Spatula
      • Paper towels for draining

       

      Instructions

      1. Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
      2. Form the Fritters: Using your hands or a spoon, shape the chicken mixture into small patties or fritters, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
      3. Heat the Oil: Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
      4. Fry the Fritters: Carefully place the fritters in the hot oil, cooking in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
      5. Drain and Serve: Transfer the fritters to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

      Tips

      • For a healthier option, bake the fritters at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
      • Add some finely chopped vegetables like bell peppers or spinach to the mixture for extra flavor and nutrients.
      • Serve with a side of dipping sauce, such as ranch, honey mustard, or sriracha mayo.
      • Make them ahead by storing uncooked fritters in the fridge for up to 2 hours before frying.
