      Ingredients

      • 1 lb ground beef (preferably 80% lean)
      • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
      • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
      • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
      • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
      • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
      • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
      • 1/2 teaspoon salt
      • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
      • 4 hamburger buns
      • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard

      Equipment

      • Baking sheet
      • Parchment paper or aluminum foil
      • Mixing bowl
      • Spoon or spatula
      • Meat thermometer (optional)

      Instructions

      1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
      2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until just combined.
      3. Form the mixture into four equally sized patties.
      4. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
      5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium-well burgers.
      6. While the burgers are baking, toast the buns in the oven during the last few minutes to give them a warm, crispy texture.
      7. Once the burgers are fully cooked, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
      8. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a toasted bun and topping with your favorite ingredients, such as cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, or condiments.

      Tips

      • For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of BBQ sauce or ketchup to the burger mixture.
      • For a crispy burger exterior, you can broil the burgers for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.
      • Experiment with different cheeses (cheddar, Swiss, or blue cheese) for extra richness and flavor.
      • These burgers are also great for meal prep – just store the cooked patties in the fridge and reheat when ready to serve.
