      Equipment:

      • Large pot
      • Saucepan
      • Knife and cutting board
      • Ladle
      • Tongs
      • Bowls for serving

      Ingredients:

      • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
      • 2 cups water
      • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
      • 1 tablespoon miso paste (optional, for deeper flavor)
      • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
      • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
      • 2 garlic cloves, minced
      • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
      • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (shiitake or button)
      • 1 cup fresh spinach or bok choy
      • 2 soft-boiled eggs (optional)
      • 2 green onions, sliced
      • Protein of choice (sliced chicken, pork, tofu, or shrimp)
      • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, chili oil, nori (seaweed), or corn

      Instructions:

      1. Prepare the Broth:
In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add ginger and garlic, sautéing for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the broth, water, soy sauce, and miso paste (if using). Bring to a gentle simmer.
      2. Cook the Vegetables and Protein:
Add the mushrooms to the simmering broth and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender. Add your protein of choice (pre-cooked if necessary) and spinach or bok choy. Simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
      3. Cook the Noodles:
In a separate saucepan, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
      4. Assemble the Bowls:
Divide the cooked noodles into serving bowls. Ladle the hot broth with vegetables and protein over the noodles.
      5. Add Toppings:
Top each bowl with a soft-boiled egg, sliced green onions, and any optional toppings you like.
      6. Serve and Enjoy:
Serve immediately while the soup is hot. Adjust the seasoning with more soy sauce or chili oil as desired.

      Tips:

      • Use fresh ramen noodles if available for a more authentic texture.
      • Customize the toppings based on what you have on hand—cabbage, bean sprouts, or carrots work well.
      • For a spicier kick, add a spoonful of gochujang or Sriracha to the broth.

Homemade ramen noodle soup is a simple yet incredibly satisfying dish that can be tailored to your taste. With a rich broth, tender noodles, and a variety of toppings, it’s a meal that never disappoints. Enjoy this comforting bowl of goodness anytime!
