Hawaiian Roll Sliders are the ultimate party food. These bite-sized sandwiches are made with soft, slightly sweet Hawaiian rolls filled with your choice of deli meats and cheeses, then baked to golden perfection with a buttery glaze. Whether you’re hosting a game day, potluck, or family dinner, these sliders are guaranteed to disappear quickly.

      Equipment:

      • Baking dish or sheet pan
      • Sharp knife
      • Small mixing bowl
      • Pastry brush

      Ingredients:

      • 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian rolls
      • ¾ pound deli ham or turkey
      • 6 slices Swiss or provolone cheese
      • ¼ cup mayonnaise (optional)
      • ¼ cup Dijon mustard (optional)
      • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
      • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
      • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (for glaze)
      • 1 teaspoon onion powder
      • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds

      Instructions:

      1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
      2. Prepare the Rolls:
Without separating the rolls, slice them horizontally in half to create a top and bottom layer. Place the bottom layer in a greased baking dish.
      3. Layer the Fillings:
Spread mayonnaise or mustard (if using) over the bottom layer of rolls. Layer the ham or turkey evenly, then top with cheese slices. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
      4. Make the Glaze:
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, onion powder, and poppy seeds. Mix well.
      5. Brush with Glaze:
Generously brush the glaze over the tops of the rolls, making sure they are evenly coated.
      6. Bake:
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
      7. Serve:
Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.

      Tips:

      • Customize the filling with roast beef, chicken, or vegetarian options like spinach and mushrooms.
      • Use shredded cheese for easier melting.
      • Prep ahead by assembling the sliders and storing them in the fridge. Add the glaze and bake when ready to serve.

Hawaiian Roll Sliders are a simple yet flavorful addition to any menu. With their warm, melty goodness and buttery glaze, they’re a guaranteed hit that’s as easy to make as it is to enjoy. Perfect for sharing with friends and family!
